On a yellow map base motorways are shown in blue with County boundaries and names displayed in red and Local & Unitary Authority boundary lines and names in green. The map includes motorways and primary routes, defines built-up areas, and distinguishes population bands in towns from less than 10,000 to more than 1,000,000 inhabitants. Also shown are international and domestic airports and, as an inset, a detailed map of the London metropolitan area. Population figures by County and Unitary Authority are also given.

This map also displays a handy inset map of ITV regions (including overlap areas), as well as an inset map of the whole of Ireland defined by county (Northern Ireland is included on the main map). There is also a handy smaller inset map showing the breakdown of Postcode Areas within the UK.

Please note - this is one of our best-sellers and an excellent and clear planning map. But if you are needing to see lots of towns and even large villages with road numbering etc this may not be the most suitable purchase.

This map is permanently bonded between two sheets of tough, flexible, crystal-clear plastic. This finish allows you to write on, wipe off with dry or wet wipe pens.
