This physical wall map accurately depicts relief and terrain detail through a unique blend of digital elevation modelling and realistic surface representation - some 80 million spot heights have been processed to create the hill shading. All major physical features are identified including mountains, rivers, islands,capes and bays
The maps are available in three versions, printed on heavy duty paper, encapsulated in a high quality polyester providing a write-on wipe-off surface, or framed.
Every effort has been made to ensure this attractive range of wall maps is the most up to date and accurate available. Dr. David Munro, Director of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society and Chairman of the Permanent Committee of Geographical Names was brought in as Geographical Consultant to ensure the most recent name changes are incorporated.
