Philip's Dark Skies Map Britain and Ireland

Published in association with the British Astronomical Association's Campaign for Dark Skies, this map is a must for astronomers who want to find the darkest observing sites in Britain and Ireland.
The map has been produced using data from the Light Pollution Science and Technology Institute in Italy, carefully combined with a Philip's road map (approximate scale 20 miles to 1 inch).
Different levels of light pollution are represented by different colours, so that keen observers can easily see their nearest dark site, and then find the best route to get there.
