We are very pleased to be able to announce the release of our Simpson Desert Map.
This map was born from the extensive data we collected when field checking this area as part of our Great Desert Tracks Mapping Expedition.
"The Simpson" remains the trip synonymous with desert travel and we wanted to produce a detailed map, as part of our regional series, which also gave all the information to make this trip fulfilling and safe.
When we were looking for someone to write the text side of this map, we could think of no one better than Ron Moon, and we were delighted when he accepted this assignment.
The new Simpson Desert map has great road and track detail, international symbols showing what facilities are available where, matched with some beautiful images and has all the things to see and watch out for, detailed by one of Australia's leading out back specialists, Ron Moon.
