The Stubai Glacier Route ñ Known as the Hˆhen Weg, this tour takes in the best of the Stubai Alps. This hut-to-hut tour crosses glaciers and has ample opportunities for ascents of easy peaks.
AUTHOR INFORMATION
In addition to Austria the author has climbed extensively throughout the Alps together with east Africa and the Greater Ranges in Nepal and Pakistan, and lesser known Zagros mountains of Iran and more recently the Hajr mountains of the Arabian peninsula.
When not abroad the author's home is on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The author is a long term member of the Austrian Alpine Club.
