The FRAMED wall map is an encapsulated map backed on to a board. The map will arrive ready to display with a hanging kit (screws and wallplugs).
No glass is used, and the backing board will accept map pins, so the framed version is the easiest way to hang your map on the wall, and you also have the choice of writing on/rubbing off or using map pins.
Please note however that not all wall maps are available framed, and not all wall maps we supply have all the available framing options listed below. Many of the World Wall maps are only available with an aluminium frame.
Framed Wall Maps cannot be despatched to an address outside mainland Great Britain.

Coloured Aluminium Frames
Many of our framed maps can be supplied with attractive coloured aluminium frames. The satin finish aluminium frame comes in four colours.
These frames have a very easy and user friendly mounting system with key hole slots requiring only two round headed screws to hang it.
Both board options are light and even a large magnetic board can be lifted with one hand. There are two quality levels using the same frame:
1) A gloss encapsulated map mounted onto pinboard material with satin aluminium frame of your colour choice
2) A gloss encapsulated map mounted on stiff, lightweight foamboard which is both magnetic and pinnable with satin aluminium frame of your colour choice
The framed maps are sent out with dense foam protection for their edges, bubble wrapped on the front and then wrapped in dual-wall cardboard protection.
These can usually be supplied in just a few days.
Please note that many of the framed maps (eg coloured aluminium frames) are made to order customised products with your chosen frame and consequently not returnable unless faulty or received damaged.
The available colours from left to right are: Silver, Gold & Black. (Note that Green and Blue (1st & 3rd) are no longer available).
Map Marketing
Light Wood and Dark Wood frames are available with some of the wall maps. The wood frames hang like a picture, with a cord at the back.
The Aluminium frame image is also almost identical to where we have specified aluminium frames for other publishers. The Aluminium frame is screwed flat to the wall. There is a cover in each corner of the frame which is removed to show a hole for a screw to fix the map flat against the wall. You fit the cover back after the map has been fixed to the wall.

Future Maps Framed Maps are usually supplied within a week.
The Colourmap frame looks very similar to the Futuremap frame and is made of plastic. The Futuremap frame is a very robust high quality Nielsen Aluminium frame, a market leader.
