ENCAPSULATED means the wall map is placed between two sheets of tough,
flexible, crystal-clear plastic.
The laminated finish transforms an ordinary paper map into a virtually
indestructible reference and planning tool. The lamination not only enhances the
map’s appearance, it also gives the surface a dry or wet wipe finish allowing
you to update information with the stroke of a pen.

To fix a laminated map to the wall you will need either pins or
tape, but the heavier encapsulated maps could be a problem on a normal plaster
wall (unless it is covered with cork or similar) and you may find a framed
version of the larger map easier to hang if you don't have a suitable wall surface for pins or strong tape. |
