| Cancellations Before Your Order Is Despatched
You can cancel your order*** at any time before the order actually leaves our premise (usually 3-4.30 pm UK time).
If you cancel after your card has been charged we will credit your card account for the full charge within 24 hours.
*** Please note that customised products ie, maps or jigsaws made specially for a customer cannot be cancelled or the products returned unless the product is faulty. We always supply full information to the customer about these customised products before the order is placed with our supplier and no order is placed until the format etc has been agreed with our customer.
Cancellations After Your Order Has Been Despatched
Orders cancelled after the order has left our premises will be treated as unwanted goods, and can be returned without any reason, but the delivery charge will not be refunded for non-faulty goods.
Most smaller, low value items are sent by 1st Class Post and do not require a signature, and no tracking facility is available.
The delivery address for items sent by post cannot be changed after despatch.
Orders Sent by Carrier
More expensive items and long wall or framed maps are sent by carrier.
The delivery address for orders sent by carrier can be changed after despatch for a fee of £ 5.00 (+ VAT). This is the fee imposed on us by the carrier.
We will not despatch goods by carrier to a home delivery address until we have received an assurance that someone will be able to sign for the delivery or alternative delivery arrangements have been made (such as leaving the parcel in a porch or garage etc).
(It may be more convenient to arrange for delivery to your place of work.)
The carrier will make two attempts at delivery, the second attempt is usually made the day after the first failed delivery. A card will be left on each occasion giving you the opportunity to make arrangements to collect your order from the local depot.
After the second delivery attempt, if no arrangements have been made to collect from the carrier's depot the carrier will contact us to arrange either a third delivery attempt or a return to us. In both cases there will be a charge of £ 5.00 to your account.
